Abstract
The paper presents theoretical and numerical studies of the combined static performance of a PVC profile-steel core system subject to arbitrary external distributed loads. The study resulted in the analytical method for calculating the performance of PVC window profiles with a steel core under arbitrary external distributed loads development. The proposed calculation method considers the combined performance of the PVC window profile and the steel core, which are connected with self-tapping screws point fasteners; as well as the PVC profile initial curvature due to its possible thermal shrinkage. The proposed analytical calculation method for reinforced PVC profiles can be applied in engineering practice, primarily in the PVC windows structure development, as well as in the windows design for a specific environmental condition at the steel cores static characteristics selecting.
