Abstract
Formation of a personal protective equipment set (PPE) for workers performing residential buildings major repairs is considered. The regulatory requirements (the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, GOSTs, SNiP) analysis was carried out and the main types of risks during dismantling, roofing, facade, finishing and electrical work were identified. A methodology for selecting PPE on the basis of a risk-based approach and the working conditions assessment results is proposed. Tables and diagrams reflecting the structure of injuries, the PPE compliance with the work types and the cost structure for their provision are presented. The domestic and foreign health and safety standards were compared. The conclusion on the need for systematic approach to the workers PPE kit, taking into account the production processes peculiarities is made. The proposed recommendations implementation allows reducing the injuries level and improving the effectiveness of occupational safety.
