Abstract
The purpose af factor analysis i s t o i d e n t i e the dimensions or factors by whicha variety of ghenmepa within a domain are related.Factorial methods were originally developed for the purpose of identifying the pr.hcipal dimensions or categories of mentality; bzrt the methods are general, so t h a t they.have been found useful .forother psychological -problem and i n other sciences as w e l l .Factor analS.sisi s not restricted by assumptions regarding the nature of the factors, whether they be .physiologicalor social, elemental or complex, correlqted or uncorrelated.Thu~, three programs W e been written which' factor analyze a s e t of measurements i n order that the underlying factors which r e l a t e the measurements ma;r be identified. These pxdgrams .

First‐Year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe ( WMAP ) Observations: Preliminary Maps and Basic Results
We present full sky microwave maps in five frequency bands (23 to 94 GHz) from the WMAP first year sky survey. Calibration errors are less than 0.5% and the low systematic error...

Sparsity and incoherence in compressive sampling
We consider the problem of reconstructing a sparse signal x^0\\in{\\bb R}^n from a limited number of linear measurements. Given m randomly selected samples of Ux0, where U is an...
