Adducts of tungsten(V) halides | RDL Research Database

Abstract

The adducts WCl5py2,WCl5 bipy, and WCl5 diphos have been prepared by reaction of tungsten hexachloride with the appropriate ligand in benzene or carbon tetrachloride solution. The physical properties and reactions of these compounds are described, and the reactions of tungsten hexachloride with other ligands are also discussed.
